Terms of Service
The agreement between Logspace and the companies and people who use it.
Last updated: 12 August 2026
1. The agreement
These terms govern access to and use of the Logspace platform and this website. By creating a workspace, accepting an invitation to one, registering for Logspace Community, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
Logspace comes in two editions, and some terms differ between them: Logspace for companies, bought by an organisation for its employees, and Logspace Community, the free edition where individuals register their own personal workspace. Sections that apply to only one edition say so.
2. Workspaces and accounts
- A company workspace is an organisation's dedicated Logspace environment, with its own database, branding, and subdomain.
- Admins manage the company workspace: users, departments, projects, shifts, review cycles, recipients, and settings. Team members submit and track their own reports, requests, and goals.
- A Logspace Community account is registered by an individual for themselves. There is no employer, no manager, and no administrator with access to your content.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country to register an account.
3. Logspace Community
- Logspace Community is provided free of charge. We may introduce paid tiers in future, but we will not start charging for an existing account without notice and a choice.
- Registration is open and self-service. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach the acceptable use terms below.
- Sharing is mutual. Reports can only be sent to contacts who have accepted a connection with you, and goals, projects, and calendar events are shared individually and read-only. You can stop sharing at any time.
- Because it is free, Logspace Community carries no service-level commitment. Export anything you cannot afford to lose.
- Community and company workspaces are separate platforms with separate accounts. Moving to a company workspace is a fresh start, not an upgrade, and content does not transfer automatically.
4. Your data
Everything submitted to a workspace — reports, drafts, notes, requests, goals, documents, and audit records — belongs to the workspace owner: your company for a company workspace, or you personally on Logspace Community. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Company workspaces can export the audit trail to CSV at any time, and you can take your data with you if you leave.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to store or send unlawful, infringing, or malicious content;
- harass, impersonate, or send unwanted contact requests or reports to other members;
- attempt to access another company's workspace or another user's account;
- probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or bypass its security or usage limits;
- use automated means to register accounts or scrape other members' information;
- resell or provide the service to third parties outside your company without our written agreement.
6. Plans and billing (company workspaces)
- Logspace is billed per company workspace, monthly, per the plan selected on the pricing page. Annual billing and non-profit discounts are available on request.
- Each plan includes a team-member limit (Starter: 35; Business: 100; Enterprise: custom). If you outgrow your plan, we'll ask you to upgrade.
- Some features are plan-dependent — AI report polishing, CSV audit export, unlimited departments and projects, and custom branding are included from the Business plan upward.
- Fees are payable in advance and non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise in an Enterprise agreement. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect.
- Logspace Community is free and is not a company plan; nothing in this section applies to it.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep Logspace available and fast, but the service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation except where an Enterprise service-level agreement says otherwise. We may perform maintenance and will aim to schedule it outside business hours. Logspace Community, being free, carries no availability commitment at all.
8. AI features
AI report polishing is an optional assist that improves grammar and tone. It does not verify facts; the author remains responsible for the content of every report they submit. The feature can be turned off for a whole workspace, and is available on the Business and Enterprise plans.
9. Intellectual property
We own the Logspace software, design, and branding. Your company owns its data and its own branding used in its workspace; on Logspace Community you own your own content. Each side grants the other only the licences needed to operate the service — nothing in these terms transfers ownership either way.
10. Suspension and termination
- You can cancel a workspace or delete a Community account at any time; a paid workspace remains active until the end of the paid period.
- We may suspend or terminate a workspace or account for non-payment or material breach of these terms, after notice and a reasonable opportunity to fix the problem where practical. Serious breaches of acceptable use may be actioned immediately.
- On termination, we will make your data available for export for at least 30 days before deletion, except where law requires otherwise.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; and our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid for the service in that period — which, for the free Logspace Community edition, means our liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts, unless an Enterprise agreement specifies otherwise.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions? Write to hello@logspace.cloud or call +234 703 768 0428.
